Use this page to find answers to the most common questions regarding the use
of the online shopping cart.
How Do I Create an Account?
Creating an account on gospellight.com makes it easy for you to shop quickly
and efficiently. Just click on "login" and follow the instructions there, its
very simple. When you go to checkout, your shipping and billing addresses will
automatically be filled in for you, saving you time. And you can update your
account information at any time.
Please note: For security reasons, all credit card information will not be
retained on the server. You will be prompted for the payment information every
time you order.
How Does the Shopping Cart Work?
Gospellight.com's shopping cart works just like ones you will find in a regular
store, and similarly to most online shopping carts. With online shopping, you
can add or remove items instantly, and never have to wait in line. You will
be able to checkout at anytime, and you won't have to leave your house or church
to shop.
How Can I Add Items to the Cart?
To add an item to your cart, click on the "ADD TO CART" button next to the item.
This will automatically put the item into your shopping cart. This will only
add a quantity of one item to your cart. Then continue shopping, add other items
to cart, or checkout.
How Do I Remove Items from the Cart?
If at any point in the shopping process you want to see or edit the items in
your cart, click on the "My Cart" link in the top navigation bar.
If you want to get rid of an item in your cart, press the "remove" button. This
removes that item from your cart and then allows you to continue shopping.
How Do I Update Quantities of the Items in my Cart?
If you need to change the quantity of an item in your shopping cart,click on
the "My Cart" link in the top navigation bar and change the number
in the quantity box to the new quantity across from the appropriate item. Then
click on the "Update" button and your cart will then change to your desired
quantity.
Be careful. If you forget to click on the "Update Quantities" button, your
cart will think it still has the old quantity of items when you go to check
out.
How Do I Check Out?
When you are finished shopping and want to order, click on the "Checkout" button.
This will begin the check out process.
How Does the Check Out Process Work?
Login - Logging in makes it easier for you to checkout quickly. If you already
have an account with us, simply type in your name and password. If you have
not created an account with us yet, you can create one when you go to the Login
page. Click on the "Login" button and follow the instructions on the page and
create your own personal account.
If you are a church with an existing Gospel Light CHURCH account, please enter
your account number as your Login Name. Then enter the password you received
from Gospel Light.
Also, if you have forgotten your username or password, you can request it online
on the Login screen (assuming it is already setup). Your information will be
e-mailed to you.
If you don't remember or have not received your CHURCH account number or password,
please e-mail Customer Service or call them at 800-235-3185 to find that information.
What About the Shipping Information?
The next step is to provide your shipping information. If you are logged in
and have an account, this information will already be filled in for you. If
your address has changed since then, just update your new address. Your account
will remember your most recent information.
International Shipping Options
Your order will be shipped surface or air mail or if your order is over $200(US) it will be shipped by air courier.
What is the Billing Information For?
The next step is to provide your billing information. If you are logged in and
have made a purchase from us before, this information will be filled in for
you. If your address has changed since then, just fill in the new one. Your
account will remember your most recent information.
The next screen in the ordering process will show you a summary of the purchase
information. There is also a pull-down menu for choosing the method you want
the items shipped (i.e. ground, next day and second day).
The last pull-down menu gives you the choice of payment. You can purchase with
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card. Hit the Continue button.
What About the Credit Card or Church Account Information?
The next screen will prompt you to select your payment type (Master Card, Visa
etc). Be sure to enter your name accurately. Then enter your valid credit card
number and expiration date. If you are ordering via CHURCH accounts, please
enter your church account number and make sure you are logged in using your
Gospel Light-assigned password.
The final pull down menu will ask you whether or not you want to allow any
items in your order to be backordered. (A BACKORDER is any order that cannot
be shipped due to the unavailability of inventory.) After you have done this,
click on the "continue" button.
When Do I get My Order Confirmation?
You will get an order confirmation as soon as you submit your information. Please
print and keep this invoice. If you have any questions about your order, and
need to contact Gospel Light, please refer to this order number on the invoice.
If you entered your e-mail address, an order confirmation has been sent to
the address you specified.
What Is Your Privacy Policy?
