I have put all my CDs in and none will open. Does anyone know what Windows these are made for? It doesnt' say.
And what do I do if my computer will not read them? All the director information, clipart, and such is on them! Is there someplace on here/the site where I can access this information or am I floundering??

Hi Kimberly,
Sorry you're having difficulty with the CDROMs. They are designed to be pretty basic so they will work on a wide variety of the most commonly used systems.
Maybe this will help:
1) Put the CD/CDROM into the disc drive 2) Click “Start” and select “My Computer” 3) To open the files, right-click and select “Open” 4) Drag the desired file to the desktop or right-click and select “Open” 5) The Read Me file is usually provided in two different formats and gives details on how to use the PDF file.
I'm attaching a file here that has screen shots of each step --> click to downloadYou might want to try opening them on a friend's computer with a different version of Windows just to see if that is indeed the problem. If you still need help please email or call customer service for additional assistance. customerservice@gospellight.com 1-800-4-GOSPEL. They will need to know what Windows version you are using and what you've tried so far to get the CDROMs to work.

I cannot get the Beach decor & more CD-rom (from SonSurf Beach Bash VBS) to download onto my mac. Is anyone else having this problem? The disc goes in, it whirs as if it is reading the disc and then it just spits it out. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi Stacy,
Sorry you are having difficulty with the Beach Decor CDROM. All our CDROMs are designed to work on Macs or PCs - so it could be something to do with your particular computer or this particular CDROM. I would try opening it on a different computer and see if you have the same difficulties. If you are still unable to get the disk to respond, call customer service (1-800-4-GOSPEL) and see what they can do.
Hope this helps!

I can't ever get Gospel Light Cd's to open on my Mac. I have to open them on a PC and copy them onto another disk and then open that disk on my Mac. For some reason my Mac doesn't like them!

That is strange considering they are originally created on a mac. Sorry you've had trouble with them.

I have had the same issue each year with the CD's. It basically blows up my PC as soon as I try to load them - giving me a "bad_pool_header" error. Anyway, my workaround was to save the info onto a USB drive and then I could load them just fine. I am running Windows XP on my PC.

I do have to go into my computer which I cannot understand why. I haven't been able to send files of any of the clipart which completely limits its use. I gave the clipart CD to someone else who is working on forms and such and she is having the same issue. I didn't have this problem last year. Last year I put the CD in, it opened up and I could view each clip art. Now I have to go into my computer and it doesn't show each clip art to view. I have to clip and open up each one to view it. Too much work! I have resorted to googling beach clipart and using that instead.

Hi again Kimberly,
Did you try the steps listed in my first response? Were you able to open the Read Me file on your disk? Have you been able to use the other CDs?
Here is a link about getting thumbnails to show up so you can preview the clip art files before opening them.
You then need to drag the files to your desktop (or save them somewhere else on your computer) in order to then be able to attach them to an email and send them to anyone else.
Hope this helps. Maybe someone else on your VBS team can give you a hand as well - a lot of youth workers are great at helping out with techy stuff. :)
